Yakky Cha is a Character created by Ruben Amaya inspired on the YakCha (ยักษ์-YAK) who are the guardians of the gates in buddhist temples in Thailand. His name comes from Yakky (little Yak) and Cha (ชา) (茶)
meaning tea in Thai and chinese languages.
Unlike his brothers, big and fierce, Yakky is small and cute but has a big
courageous heart. He always has a warm welcoming smile. While he loves
sweet and creamy milk tea with boba he also loves very spicy food.
Tealicious Cafe is a locally owned and operated mobile beverage truck based in
Charlottesville, Virginia. Founded by a husband-and-wife team, our mission is to
deliver high-quality, authentic Asian-inspired drinks and treats to our community
and beyond.
We specialize in a variety of handcrafted beverages, including bubble tea, fresh fruit smoothies, flavored lemonades, and soft-serve ice cream, all made with premium
ingredients such as traditional loose leaf teas, real fruit and original recipes inspired
by the flavors of Asia.
Since our launch, Tealicious Cafe has become a crowd favorite at farmers market.
We take pride in offering not only delicious drinks, but also exceptional customer service and a memorable experience with every visit.
